Twinspark (16V)
The Twinspark engine was developed from an 8 valve engine, an all alloy wet-liner block and chain driven into a 16 valve engine with an iron block, alloy head and belt driven.
The Twinspark 16V engines, 1.4, 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0, all use a 10 mm diametre and a 14mm diametre spark plug per cylinder and camshaft phase variator.
