Twin Cam Engine (8V)
Alfa Romeo Twin Cam engine is an all alloy 4 cylinder engine produced from 1954 to 1994.
Introduced in the 1290 cc Giulietta in 1954, the capacity was increased to 1570 cc with the introduction of the Giulia in 1962. The twin cam engine was later increased to 1779 cc in 1968.
The 1962 cc engine was introduced in 1971. The last examples of this engine 1590 cc, 1750 cc and 1995 cc went into production in 1985.
